Walking With Angels
Join the Ipswich Tourist Guides Association on a walking tour around the centre of Ipswich as they explore sites connected with Thomas Wolsey and the Tudor age.
All walks start at the Ipswich Tourist Information Centre and will finish at Christchurch Mansion, allowing time to explore the Mansion's fabulous exhibition Thomas Wolsey: Ipswich's Greatest Son, the centrepiece of which are four bronze angels originally designed for Wolsey's tomb and on loan for the first time in East Anglia from the V&A.
Walks last approximately 90 minutes.
All walks start from the Ipswich Tourist Information Centre, please arrive 15 minutes before the walk is due to depart to allow time for registration.
Ipswich Tourist Guides Association reserve the right to change walks without notice due to the prevailing conditions on the day and accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property or injury to persons during the walk.
We regret that only Assistance Dogs are accepted onto the walks and may not be permitted in certain buildings.
No tickets are issued for these walks, but your name and booking reference will be checked during registration before the walks start.
